Kyle Lam

angel investor

I have always loved innovations. I love how it evolves every day and it is just so damn hard to keep up. Every day you see and hear there is something new. I have witnessed and experienced the whole internet evolution which changed our world.

I am gonna be straight with you. I am no technology expert. I am not a marketing genius. I do this out of love. The love of innovation. The love of synergy of a well-oiled team. The love of archiving milestones. The love of being part of something I believe.

And this is my bio.

Kyle's Bio

I become an angel investor out of love. Love for my family. I hold a bachelor degree in Hospitality. I am currently the VP of Operations of an electronics manufacturing company. I am responsible to oversee the plant’s daily operations, set strategic goals and continuous improvement for the organization. The experience from these 2 industries have strengthen my management skills and strategic planning. They also spark my interest in technology and social interactions. But what really triggered me was after I got married and knowing I was gonna be a dad. And it changed me. I wonder what kind of dad I want myself to become? And what kind of man I want my son to become? I spent time meditated. I concluded that I wanted to be part of a venture and be able to nurture the seed.

I started digging into angel investing, the deeper I dug, more it interested me. I was hooked instantly, like Tom sees Jerry. I started to branch out socially to build my network and attend different pitching events. I got out of my comfort zone and took the challenge. It was an exciting journey as I got to meet various people and team with different dreams. I learnt something unique from each person I have met through meetings or Skype calls. It also triggered me to reevaluate my position and contribution to my own business. How could I sync with the founders on what are they doing? I now treat the company like a startup. I had broken and built new things which I had experienced numerous failures. I learnt from every single one of them and be wiser through my planning and execution. And I always be passionate about my vision. For all investments those I have made. I love every single one of them. They are all unique and I believe they have so much potential. It is a great feeling to be able to provide valuable input and assist the companies grow.

To sum it up, I can be damn sure I won't be an investor that could provide kick ass advice and connections, for now. I know one day I can and I will. I carry the passion and drive to achieve this goal. I continually enhance my knowledge and experience through trial and error in both my own company and my investments. My dream is to be a kick ass investor and assist the teams to achieve their full potential anyway I can. Let me know yours and see if we can go for it together.

Are you prepared to change the world?

“Man, I still believe in paradise. But now at least I know it's not some place you can look for because it's not where you go. It's how you feel for a moment in life when you're a part of something and if you find that moment, it lasts forever. ”
